Founded in 1991 as a partner of the UOP SpA, the STS is since 2006 a member of the IMC Group, controlled by Iscar, and operates in two sectors:
the building and the regeneration of standard and special tools and the application of PVD coatings wear and friction, both for the tooling and for the component sectors.
The STS has new coating products from plants with the latest generation technology High density plasma (HDP) with higher performance and new target application.
It is certainly important to emphasize that the use of surface coatings (applied in various technologies PVD or PA-CVD) is greatly increased in the most diverse fields application with the aim of improving the working conditions of various components, for example:

- Protection against chemical corrosion to bottling plants for liquid chemical

- Corrosive, food, packaging and general industry.

- Reduction of the coefficient of friction, in conjunction with a surface preparation suitable, then improvement in wear by friction;
- Increased micro surface hardness;
- Surface protection in all conditions of use;
- Important features are the biocompatibility and cytotoxicity of our coating;
